Typically, most mornings encompass my alarm going off at 5.15am, a yearning to stay tucked in, and me telling myself it’s time to get up and start the dayright with my morning devotion. I methodically slip out of the duvet trying so hard to ignore the contrasting cold air. So today its only fitting to happily slip away into nostalgia whilst holding onto this mug of Peppermint tea trying to keep warm at work. Our illusive British weather really has me missing those warm summer days growing up in Kenya and those carefully planned sea and sunshine escapes. I’m sure many would rather wake up to warm sunny rays that chills.
This archive look was earlier in the summer and I am still in love, it'sundoubtedly one of my treasured closet buys. I have forever been fond of those 70s style high-waisted palazzo type pants, so when I came across this two piece ensemble, I did not hesitate.
Prints and Flares are a match made combo for me, reminding me of a warm tropical summer’s day, dreamily strolling down the beach bare foot with warm sand between my toes, soaking up and gazing upon that beautiful landscape.
I will definitely be taking this with me on my next sunny vacation and to every other after that, till it’s all raggedy. The first time I wore it, most thought it was actually a jumpsuit till I had to unveil the power of a good high-waisted tuck in.
Lots Of Love
